They were lovely to me in their positions and beliefs for a better America. I didn't get into the dirt.

My problem is so many of the people who were anti-vax, also believe this: https://www.cnn.com/2024/03/13/politics/aaron-rodgers-sandy-hook-conspiracy-theories/index.html

Has Rogan weighed in on Sandy Hook? I'm not trolling, I legitimately don't know much of anything about him?

Russell Wilson will not last in Stealers Nation. He's too small. They still aren't over big Ben who looked like the statue of liberty standing on the field, being protected by his warriors until he could finally find someone open. I'm sure he paid big money to his bodyguards because he hated falling over. Russell will look like a busy flea out there...but there is no comparison and he will take the after shocks. I watched him play in Denver and he added nothing to that team. Waste of $$ IMO.

RFK Jr. is a total embarrassment to a lovely Kennedy family who pulled us through some very tough times, during the threats from Cuba and the Bay of Pigs. I don't recognize this man who calls himself a Kennedy. He's a maniac with malice towards all and just rages on and on in anger. I guess he fits right into the Maga Cult.

Rodgers turned himself over to the Devil when he went into his dark hole. I believe he will lose his fan base in a hurry siding with little Hitler (aka DT). I knew he took the wrong side when he wouldn't get vaxed to at least protect his team from Covid. What has happened to people who were actually born with brains?

My step-dad helped manage a Beefalo Ranch in Montana. They are amazing, resilient, massive animals. I remember the movie White Buffalo when I was a kid. I know it made me very sad when I saw the hundreds of buffalo being slaughtered back in the day. They showed actual photos of piles of them that were killed just for sport. The Trump boys would have been there in all their glory, as their pleasure is killing innocent near extinct animals in Africa.

What a beautiful day. I actually found time this afternoon to flop out on the lounge chair and catch some rays on my pure white skin. Being white is not as great as it's made out to be. I need color!

Keep those island songs coming. Now I just need to get back there so I know they still exist. I can keep dreaming, but sometimes dreams turn into clouds in the winter.

Lovely and Kennedy have never been used in the same sentence before as far as I know. Maybe “lovely getaway from an overturned car in a stream” or “lovely defense in your rape trial”.

I don’t know. That family is as sick as any new money illicit profit gangster family. A few generations won’t wipe that stench.

I grew up when JFK was protecting us from Cuba. He was always concerned about everyone's welfare, and had a way to make us feel safe. He spoke to us several times a day on the news to help put our minds at ease. Then, he was shot and the world didn't feel safe anymore. People at work wept openly the day he was assassinated regardless of whether they were Republicans or Democrates. That was a terrible blow to our Democracy. His brother, Bobby, cared for everyone's rights and tried his best to keep this country together, then he was shot by a racist. Those were rough times in America and unnerving. Solving hate with murder is unacceptable and horrifying. JFK Jr. is mentally ill and is not fit to be leading our country, or even speaking to our people as far as I'm concerned.

You said Kennedy family? That JFK Camelot BS was a carefully crafted charade by a willing media. If you believe Camelot then you believe a horse named Mr. Ed could talk on tv. News flash; both were a ruse.

He's the nephew of John F. Kennedy. Not sure what BS you're speaking of.

Read again. RFK Jr. isn’t the embarrassment to that family. RFK Jr. isn’t anywhere near the scoundrel that Jack, Bobby, and Ted were. There has never been a lovely Kennedy family. Some members may be but as a family? Oh, no.

Here in Mile High City, no one seems to regret the loss of Russell Wilson. Hope you feel better. Nothing worse than wolverines at your fingers.

I was a big Bronco fan when I lived down in the Springs for 17 years, while John Elway was just starting to play. What a blast it was to go to that packed stadium, all dressed in orange. No one gave up their seats to opposing teams.

Glad you enjoyed the Taylor Brown book. He has more. I finished Fallen Land a few days ago.

Thank you for the offer to Hemingway, but I seem to have developed a serious allergy to work of almost any kind.

You keep bringing up the vast difference in the Wilson and Cousins signings. Don’t the Broncos have to pay Wilson what they guaranteed when they signed him? If so, the comparison is misleading. If not, then I’ll go sit in the corner and color.

Yes, the Bronks are paying Russ lots of money to play in Pittsburgh.

I LOVE the Gesicki signing, Doc! Little known fact: He’s already been a HUGE value to the Bengals! He caught two TDs from the Great Ryan Fitzmagic Dec 22,2019 in what I will always say is the most important game in Bengals history (only because we haven’t won the Super Bowl YET!) The Dolphins 🐬 went on to win 38-35 in OT in a game that was absolutely CRITICAL to us getting Joe Burrow in the draft! But Zac and The Red Stifle were trying desperately to win it and almost did after scoring 23 4th quarter points! To say I had a brown spot in my underwear at the time is an understatement, Doc! I knew what was at stake as it was unfolding while the guys I was watching with were rooting for the Bengals. And they call themselves fans??!!?? We absolutely HAD to LOSE this battle to WIN the WAR, Doc! Ultimately, THANK GOD, FITZMAGIC was Bengals MVP 2019 (and Beyond) and I will always LOVE him for it! Can you imagine if Zac had “won” the game what a career buster it would have been??!!?? WELCOME MIKE GESICKI!! WHODEY!

Love our other FA moves so far, too, Doc! The Burrow Effect Is Real. Very Respectfully Yours, 🐅🧒🏻 (AKA Mr Exclamation Point!)

P.S.: Hi Maximus.

P.S.S.: How do you like me now, Brant??!!??😂

i highly recommend this book, The Boys in the Boat, the book behind the movie about the 1936 German Olympics. Also, aren't NFL Champion teams composed of 3-6 stars and 10 or so solid players? Can't free agency along with the draft build a Chamionship team? But I guess, who owns a team , team culture, player management must have as much or more than just signing the right players or there would be more teams vying for championships.....

I always enjoy the book recommendations. I recently read of a local school district that had a minor civil war over banned books. I randomly took one of the books from the banned to back on the shelves list to find the root cause of the issue. The Fixer, by Bernard Malamud. Knowing nothing of the book I used it as a test as to why is would be banned and now isn't. If this is the type of book kids read these days, I'm not worried about the future. Written almost 60 years ago, it's message was as prevalent then as today. Does this revoke my OG card?

Doesn't look look the Browns have to improve much in free agency over last year. They were one of the reasons The Men didn't play games of interest in January.

While away on a beach vacation for our 50th anniversary, I saw after the fact that the Bengals let star Chidobe Awuzie get away. That seems counter intuitive to me. I thought he was VIP in the secondary, which needs all the veteran help it can get. Can anyone shine some light on the reasons the Bengals let him go? Money? His performance was a bit off last season, but he was recovering from a serious injury.

Watching the RFK Jr. campaign has at least been entertaining. I am pro-vaxx because I grew up in an era where they were considered a gift from the almighty to most people so betting a presidential campaign on the freedom to refrain from them sounds pretty lightweight, but politics just gets crazier and more unhinged every day. Adding a supremely talented fruit loop like Rodgers to the slate sounds a little lame but this is America after all.

As for “Gods of Howl Mountain”, I heartily agree. Taylor Brown is very entertaining and tells a story like the reader is right there in the action. Based on the same TML advice, I read his “River of Kings” and “Fallen Land” and recommend them as well. They were hard to put down.

As for Derrick Henry and Lamarvelous in the same backfield, I find that troubling as a fan of another AFC North contender. The Ravens GM, Eric DeCosta, wins the NFL executive of the year award every year in my opinion and the Henry deal shows their future is really, really now. If they weren’t the all-time best at ball control last year, they are now. I am asking the Brown Trust brain trust, please, shut me up by finding the pieces necessary to keep up with what is going on Ravenland.

I agree with you regarding the free agents. Ravens and Steelers will be tougher this year and the Bengals are likely losing more than they gain.

Has anyone been following the firemen fiasco in NCH? There is a battle between city administrators and the firemen and both are pointing fingers at each other. I find it interesting that the city administrator replaced Sheryl Long (the city manager hired by Aftab) in that position a year ago. This new administrator had only been in her previous position in Dublin, OH for less than two years. There is likely a lot more to this story than what is being reported in the news, but I don't think the problems are the fault of fire department leadership.

No one falls to the allure of power faster than the newly appointed. The problem is they feed that addiction with each promotion.

Ok, I'll say it... there's a lot about Kennedy that I like. Mostly that he's not Biden or Trump. When Republican and Democrat "power brokers" don't like you, you're generally doing something right. He has some definite quirks. But those pale in comparison to the other two wackos. Now Rodgers added to the ticket would definitely push me away. I'm hoping this is just some silly someone on the outside floated.

Rumor has it they are trying to take Biden votes away to help DT.
