Keep that cabin! Anyplace away from the daily barrage of noise, crime, and the pressures of living in suburbia is worth GOLD!

As that person who, age wise, is living in the back forty you keep the cabin Doc!!! We all need "that place" that connects us to who we are or who we wish we could be. When I go down to the Low Country I feel as though I know who I really am so keep it!!! Joey Votto is just plain and simple fun! I'm enjoying him now more than ever. You have the right idea about him👍

Step away from the sales contract. Back up son. You have what many desire: a place of solitude in the craziest world anyone could imagine. Go be with serenity and the devil with the bugs!

Doc, if you go to the cabin only infrequently and your wife won’t go anymore sounds like you just like to be alone with your thoughts. Sell the cottage and go to the library instead. 😂 Take the proceeds of the sale and rent a 3 or 4 week stay in Asheville or in a quiet place in NC with those trips already paid for the rest of your life. Agree McLain is by far the best player on the Reds. If RUNDLC doesn’t learn to hit a curve/slider he’ll be back in Louisville next April until he learns the strike zone and how to lose that uppercut swing that makes it difficult to make consistent contact.

A good cigar always tastes better in a cabin in the woods. I’d keep it, if for no other reason.

Me thinks, keep it. Sounds like the kind of place to cruise to in a classic car for a long weekend. Serenity now! A full grown man needs a place to imbibe whilst the synapses pop and crackle with the cures for man’s ails. In a word, I’m jealous. Sounds like my kind of place…bugs, bees and all.

You’ll regret selling the cottage. It’s your oasis. Keep it. The Reds don’t need a hitting coach. They need a strike out coach. Striking out is less about skill and more about mental acuity. Train the mind to eliminate the strike out. Reds need to move on from Votto after he retires.

Keep the cabin. If you're not sure, you're not ready to give it up. Plus it's a place to go to sit and think. You'll know when your ready to get rid of it. It will become a bigger hassle than it's worth and you'll no longer question if it's time.

McLain- He's the bomb. Above average fielder, way above average hitter, good speed. Yes he's not flashy like Elly but he's a proven 2 or 3 hole hitter. He's another Altuve and among all of the rookies he'll have the best career.

Keep the fucking cabin, mate. Or sell it to me. A place like that to be alone with a cigar and a shot'a bourbon, amid a midwest forest. That's heaven, Paul. Keep it!

Don't sell. I'd love to have a place like that!

Keep the cabin. (Note: I am a sentimental Irishman) You can also keep Joey Votto to yourself -sorry. But hey, in his retirement (hopefully at the close of this season) I agree the Reds should retain him in some capacity. McLain (Matty Mac as I like to refer to him) is the keeper for sure. Hoping Elly develops into his full potential and Lodolo is better PITCHER than Hunter Greene - given that so far Greene is a thrower who must learn how to PITCH! Just my opinion. Thanks for the forum.

Sell it. I HATE yard work, so maybe I'm a little biased.

Carpenter Bees can’t sting. They don’t have a stinger. They are actually pretty easy to get rid of and maintain. Keep it!

I think you should keep the cabin if only for your personal enjoyment. Maybe you write a novel from that porch swing…

Do take care of the critters and the maintenance so that perhaps the fam joins on occasion. Run your golf buddies out there and stop at Valley Vista.

You could always pop it on airbnb as a rustic country weekend retreat (once the bugs are handled) so that it paid for itself…
