I love this one. Side note: having read the headline at a glance initially without reading the post (aka: the fix) I mentioned it to my lovely bride who responded: "Phone takes care of that, no navigation system needed." Yep, she is the smart one at our house. You know, along with you Doc. Thanks. Loved it.
I lot of us have found ourselves in the same position! lol She says honey the thing is still spinning. You give her that look that says “Don’t you think I can see!” lol
There is always something for which to be grateful😊. (My mother is looking down at me from Heaven making sure I don’t end a sentence with a preposition!!)
Consumers want new cars to have lots of technology which means screens instead of buttons and knobs. None of which will last as long as the car. Anyone have a 15 year old laptop? I’m afraid the price to replace these components will escalate big time.
Sometimes I think all this escalating technology is a plot against “old folks” to stress us out and send us to an early grave. There is so much just waiting for them to inherit!
I'm glad you were able to solve the problem. I probably would have given up after trying to reboot. The next time you get frustrated with something, here is something to listen to.

I smell a Pulitzer in your future for this column.

Didya run down the driveway towards the street to strike your “Hassock Pose”?

Glad it worked out, Doc.

You sound like me, a duct tape guy!
Too Funny
I now recall hearing from other mobsters that you are a genius with both cars and food additives.
Nice work Doc!
