Anyone watch The Banshees of Inishiren on HBO? It’s not outstanding but it is worth a watch because it’s beautifully filmed and expertly acted. Nice metaphor for the Irish Civil War taking place across the way. The actor that plays Dominic has some serious acting skills.
I was going to say there was a book about Ebner. I read it. Couldn’t remember the author. But, now I do. Have you sold the movie rights yet? It would be epic. I remember finding his dad’s junk yard in Dayton on google. What I life he’s lead so far.
Re: Trump. I agree I think he is finally toast but as my mother often reminded me, "Those who ignore History are doomed to repeat it." What we need to remember is all of the enablers, I'm talking about you Lindsey, Kevin and the rest of the Hitler youth,, who initially admonished Trump, "I'm done with him" and then supported him during impeachment. These folks are more worthy of our contempt than Ol' Whats his name.
I never knew there were so many people who could come out from under rocks until DT came along. I can no longer use his name aloud. And, there is no blood pressure medication that can put it to rest in my mind. Thanks for the "call out".

The game should be on at my sister’s house - other side of connector- tomorrow. Small gathering - early gifts for her son’s step kids. Actual holidays get complicated with custody arrangements and such. I’m getting in a plug for sea turtles and sea otters with our gift. No significant danger of duplicate presents .
Looking forward to both things. Gathering and game. I cannot just sit and watch a game. Won’t need to. The two new kittens will provide entertainment too.
TV: Watching Kindred on Hulu. Read the book long ago. Halfway in. Recommend. Sci-fi but not space ships. Octavia Butler. Book published in ‘79. Wisely updated to 2016.
It's funny that this game, which figured to be a big one when the schedule was posted, would turn out to be a trap game. But I agree that it very well could.
Because TV is my life: We were like Paul in that the more Tulsa King ads we saw, the more we thought anything pushed that heavily had to be bad. But we gave it a try...and got hooked! Good story lines. Good acting (even Stallone). Good dialogue. And at 75 YO, Stallone still can show a boyish, simple charm alongside his bad guy persona, and he does so in this series. CheckItOut..seriously.
