All caught up on TML 2.0 after a friend sent me the link this morning-(Thanks EB, prayers out to you and everyone in FL)

Good to have the Doc-void filled back up after you so selfishly retired, lol. Like the logo, though it looks like Johnny Thinwallet may have upgraded the cigar choice for his golden years; perhaps we will start seeing wine reviews next? This has made my day, welcome back!

Decided you were a little excited posting while the game was fresh 😎

I remember Bridgewater at Louisville. Thought he stepped in admirably after Tua injury. Nevertheless, good win for the Bengals. Even liked the white uniforms.

My cousin and her husband were given tickets to the game. Staying over last night. Very excited days ahead.

Looked at the Tua clip from Sunday. I hope the Dolphins don’t “let him play “ his way to paralysis or death. Reckless indifference at best.

👍 on a solid win. Indeed encouraged that the O line protected much better against the Fins than 1st three games. On the D side, game balls to Logan Wilson and Von Bell?

Running the middle with Mixon was a bust! Burrows throwing outside the pocket did much better last night. Our Oline looked much better! Defense was on spot except the penalties. Good game boys!🧡🏈🖤

Question: After seeing Andrew Whitworth on the post game show and also hearing Joe's comment about last night's game was the most time he had in the pocket since he has been in the league... If the Bengals would have resigned Whit back in the day, how much different would things be? Everyone loved/loves Whit and no one wanted to see him leave then. Would they have won a few more games and not got to draft Joe? Would they have got Joe and Whit would have been a Bengal for the SB and they would have got rings (move over Anthony Munoz if so...)? Would Marvin possibly even still be here coaching?

Running up the gut wasn't doing much last night. Running off-tackle seemed to gain more yardage when they tried it. I trust they will get the run blocking sorted out, but when Mixon did have a hole a few times, he looked explosive.

What about the city itself? It looked gorgeous in the overhead shots. The crowd was electric. That was as good an atmosphere I have ever seen for a Bengals game, ever.

Someone explain why the Bengals insist on running Mixon up the middle 15+/- times a game. What is the brain trust thinking? If I know what’s coming on first down, so does the opposition. And it hasn’t worked for 3 games.

Very objective piece of your mind and that is the way it should be written. Let’s see what happens with Baltimore!

I gotta say, the Dolphins looked pretty legit for being a tired, travelled from a hurricane, no practicing team. Their offense had us on our heels. Even Teddy had nice zip on the ball. Although Joey B had almost 70% accuracy, his throws seemed off. And Chase was a non factor throughout. Tee is a stud and is going to have a monster year this year if this trend continues. I don’t understand the harm in a RB rotation. Mixon came out angry, but 2.? Yards a carry isn’t good. I vote for RB by committee. We need to see Sammy bulldoze and Chris Evan’s flash. Plus, it keeps the D guessing. Use your weapons Zac!!! And for god sake why can’t we ever convert a short yardage down for a first down or TD?? The play action has been missing all year.

(I’m aware we scored on a PA but we need more of it) And more Hurst!!!

Overall, we got a great team if we can still find a way to complain after a Win. But it’s our Defense that makes this team go. In Lou I trust. Who Dey!

Um, Doc, aren’t you retired. Didn’t expect a 12:30AM TML drop. Haha.

Bengals looked good. Defense definitely was superior tonight, but the offense is figuring it out.

Three things...

1) I was disappointed they didn’t go for the FG from the 20 in the first half. Their defense was giving you 3 points. Take it and say thank you. I believe had the Bengals got the 3 points there, they would have gone for it at 4th and goal from the 1 yard line in the 4th quarter. Thankfully it didn’t matter, but those 3 points were haunting me the whole game.

2) Bengals kept throwing to the sideline the whole game. Seems like there had to be opportunities available in the middle of the field more often than they took advantage.

3) What’s up with Mixon? Is it him or is the O-line not opening up enough holes for him. The sweep play in the 1st half on 4th down was a failure. What gives? Maybe Perine deserves more looks.

That 4th down was bothering me as well. You have the AFC's top team in the house...you take those points. I'm glad it didn't matter, but this team has had enough close games that you can't make a habit of taking points off the board. I didn't like that call whatsoever.

Right, at this point I'm worried Giselle may leave him.
