Happy to be reading TML again - and, for sure, the Pac-Tez playoff debacle hurt worse. It's impossible to believe the Bengals were a missed PAT from winning this game after losing the ball 5 times and having no takeaways. I think it shows how good they are - even in a loss.

7… the playoff debacle was worse. No question. My Dad and I were 15 year season ticket holders and even kept them one more year. After not going to any games that year and selling the tickets, we let them go. That game broke us. Still fans, but happy to watch from my Family Room and not drive 2 hours each way every home game.

I watch the Bengals every week with my dad and we both kept shaking our heads at the O-Line play. Def looked not prepared. Maybe Zac remembers this next year when deciding whether or not to the play starters, at least a little bit, in the preseason.

Oh, and the Pac-Tez debacle was worse. Definitely no contest. Sunday was game one and there will still be a game next week. Pac-Tez was game 17 with no tomorrow for a loss.

Great having you back Doc.

Silly me thought Burrow was still mending from appendectomy and would not play. Four interceptions probably related to not playing practice games. Going to take a minute to get to be a real team.

Great to have TML back, Doc.

The Bengals appeared to have taken a page from Bob Bratowski’s playbook when they continually had Mixon run up the middle for no yards, a loss or 2 yards. Don’t they have any other running plays? I was calling the play before it was run. I know the line needs more time together but I don’t believe any other running play was called. Kind of baffling when it obviously wasn’t working except for that one 4th down play. Hoping for more creativity as the season progresses.

Muscle memory had me looking for this yesterday morning. It was one of the many features of TML I knew I would miss. So, needless to say, I'm really happy to have it back. I like the new format as well. I hope the ill-advised strategy of sitting an O-Line wholly unfamiliar with each other doesn't carry over to Dallas. But I'll wait a week or two before I decide it's okay to panic :)

Reading this was like reading about last night’s Broncos game. Their starters didn’t play a snap during preseason either. My two orange teams are disappointing already!

Taylor's old boss, Sean McVay, did the same. Rams were blown out at home.

The only way Burrow survives this season is to live up to his last name; fast dig a hole to hide from the pass rush.

I like the Minkah comparison. He was absolutely a game changer for them. Played out of his mind.

Great to have the TML back! Bengals: I’m not jumping off ledges. I’m an OG and what the Bengals did last year might last me until I truly no longer care. So I’ve seen them play in 3 SBs now. Sunday I was in a NOLA bar with my daughter and we were watching both Bengals and Saints games. At almost the exact same time, the Saints kicked the come from behind game-winning FG and Chase caught Jeaux’s TD pass at the end of regulation. The place erupted! We know what happened next tho. We still “knew” the D and Jeaux would win in OT. So, bad loss. They had some last year too. A loss in either of the next two would be very bad given the opponents’ QB situations.
