When does Hunter Greene go on the clock?
When does his age become a liability and not an explanation for his inconsistency? At 24, Greene is neither here nor there. He’s not the dominant pitcher his stuff suggests he could be. He’s not a major disappointment, either. He’s learning on the job.
When does hope become a burden? The Reds believe they have a division to win. When does it become, I dunno, luxurious to have Greene continue to learn on the job?
