If we begin with the notion that Tommy Tuberville is an all-American bozo, it makes things easier to understand. UC’s failed former football coach, now the junior senator from Alabama, has decided that college football corporations should not be allowed to buy success. As a veteran of the SEC wars while coaching at Auburn and Ole Miss, Tubs has some experience in that realm.
Tuberville also believes that players signing NIL deals should be forced to honor those contracts, or face punishment.
