The Dallas Cowboys haven’t won a Super Bowl in 29 years. They haven’t even been to one. Two playoff Ws in the past decade, four total since 1997. Four postseason wins in 27 seasons, and we still seat the ‘Boys in VIP.

Just this week, USA Today described the Cowboys as a “tradition-rich franchise.’’ Sure they are. Just ask them.

Basically, Jones and his team are 10 pounds in a 5-pound bag. And have been for a generation.
