I asked for the gift of time. . .
The best Christmas gift is one-size-fits all. It can’t be returned or stored in a Rubbermaid box in the basement. It can’t be eaten, driven, watched or used to send messages. It has an expiration date, but we don’t know what it is.
It’s a versatile present. You can do anything with it, or nothing at all. Either option holds promise. It can be experienced or wasted. We assume we’ll always have it, so it’s often taken for granted.
