The Big Maple versus Cling Kong
College basketball re-invents itself again, with a comic-book matchup
College basketball tops itself again, MLB faces an existential elbow crisis, preparing (again) for the end of TV’s Greatest Show and a nature-rama goes live near Loveland. But first. . .
Are we eclipsing today?
Have we staked out a spot in Troy or Springboro or Dayton? Maybe you’re there already, hunkering down in your vehicle on the shoulder of I-75, hammerin’ your donuts and reading, I dunno, Ray Bradbury essays on Martians landing at the local UDF.
Not me. I’ll be cleaning golf carts at 3 or so, when the eclipse eclipses, assuming the clouds don’t wreck it, which is possible. I’ll put on my special X-ray glasses and my tinfoil hat and try to make sure all the grass clippings are blasted from the undercarriages.
My interest varies from minimal to slight.
