Mornin’, Mobsters. Today, we riff on some basketball game that used to be great, a Reds trade that demands a follow-up, the meaning of Pearl Harbor and my incompetence with Christmas lights. Plus, reluctant props to a certain Doobie Brother.

I’d forgotten it was coming.

I used to circle it on the calendar, when I had a real calendar and not the thing on my cell phone. I didn’t remember it this year until I saw a small mention of it at the bottom of a Xavier game story in the Enquirer.

“Xavier’s next game is Saturday in the Crosstown Shootout. . .’’ or some such.
