Shuffle MLB's Divisions
Give the Smalls a chance, says today's Hemingway. Here's how.

Youse please give it up for Mobster Tom Hausfeld, today’s Hemingway. Tom is a native Ohioan who lived in our modest Republic for 33 years before retiring to the mountains of northern Colorado.
It is time to establish the Mid Major League Baseball League. Take the lowest payroll 16 teams, and structure divisions so they compete with each other. Have their own playoffs, for the right to compete in the Mid Major League Baseball Championship. Four divisions, with no wild cards. Something like this for MMLB:
West: Athletics, Colorado, Salt Lake City. Minnesota
South: Miami, Tampa, St. Louis. Kansas City
North: Pittsburgh, Detroit, White Sox, Milwaukee
East: Washington. Cleveland, Nashville, Cincinnati
