The warmest part of almost any day around here is late afternoon. This is a meteorological fact, or at least my meteorological fact. It explains why on the 7th of December in the Year of Our Lord 2023, I was on the golf course at 3:30, wearing a light sweatshirt and a smile.

It always amazes me how many hackers abandon the local munis here in November and early December, for a costly condo someplace south. November is routinely good for golf here. We get weather-lucky in early December, as often as not. Such as yesterday. And today.
