We here in the Republic of Cincinnati are lukewarm on The Ohio State University football team and we like it that way. Cocooned in our own little corner of the state, closer neighbors with Kentucky and Indiana than Columbus and Cleveland, our sporting passions are far more sophisticated. We have wider interests. It’s one of the many reasons we are superior to the rest of the state. We don’t call in sick when Michigan beats the Buckeyes. Admit it: Some of youse actually prefer it.
