Cheer, Cheer for Old Notre Dame

Or at least read today's ode to Domers, penned by our very own Hemingway

A merry Mobster welcome to today’s Hemingway. Jack Greiner is a Cincinnati lawyer, father of four and grandfather of five. He is a lifelong Cincinnatian except for the three years he attended Notre Dame law school.

As I write this, Notre Dame is preparing to play for the National Championship. I can hardly believe I am typing those words.

Had I been typing following the loss to Northern Illinois, the words would mostly have had four letters. But somehow the team and its coaching staff pulled off a run that we ND fans will be talking about for years to come. And as far as I'm concerned, that will be the case win or lose on January 20.

Before I continue, I should say that I understand why people find many Notre Dame fans insufferable. I do, too. I try to be cool about my allegiance. I will even publicly state that I hate the movie Rudy.
